Backsplashes make a world of difference in a kitchen! There are so many styles out there, it can be hard to choose the perfect combination of pattern, material, color, and shape! What’s fun about a backsplash is that it brings design into your kitchen. You can have beautiful cabinets and appliances, but that touch of design in you backsplash is what truly completes your kitchen.
Classic and Trendy Grey
Our Bothell kitchen flip stands out with this beautiful, dark grey tile. Dark grey is such a versatile and timeless color that you don’t have to worry about this look going out of style. The subway tile style also gives off a timeless feel while still staying current. It’s also fun with these different variations of grey in the coloring. It brings in a slightly more unique feel when its not perfect grey throughout, but with each tile having its own shade, it really adds a fun touch to the space! We also love the contrast of the dark grey against the stunning white cabinets.
Our Redmond flip is the perfect example of how to tie your countertops and your cabinets together with the perfect backsplash. This thicker style of dark brown subway tile really stands out in a beautiful way. There is so much cabinet space in this house, and that all white look definitely needs some fun modern tile to even it out. We also love these granite counter tops with the accents of rich, dark brown. Having that dark backsplash really provides a way to pull out that darker brown in the countertops.
Modern Marble Patterns
We absolutely adore this look in our North bend kitchen! This fun and trendy marble subway tiled pattern is so fun. Marble is so luxurious and beautiful, but this fun pattern gives it a little bit of a youthful feel. It brings a lot of style to a smaller kitchen. With this gorgeous color on the cabinets and those modern knobs and appliances, this look is the perfect addition to really tie the space together in a unique way! And a fun way to bring some subtle touches of design in. The pops of that darker marble characteristic really bring in some personality to pattern as well.
This stunning kitchen works so well with those rich cabinets with the soft taupe tile backsplash. With cabinets this beautiful and dark, you really don’t want your backsplash to be heavy as well. We chose this neutral taupe color to offset the color and feel of the kitchen. This is a good way to create balance and still bring some fun style. Cabinets like this are too beautiful to have attention drawn away from, but also can be too heavy if it’s not done right—we wanted to make sure we added a touch of design without being too overwhelming. We really loved being able to tie this space together with all of the fun features! Don’t be afraid of a little contrast!

All white kitchens are so beautiful as is, and you want to et those cabinets and fixtures stand out. White subway tile allows for a cohesive look and let’s your kitchen feel complete.
